Sennheiser HD800 Review

I seriously wonder how huge of an improvement this pair would be to my Grado RS2i. :3

@thecatalystspecial, have you given other headphones a try yet? What genres do you listen to? It might suit for you if your musical tastes is in a category that is bass heavy. For me, because I listen to everything and I test headphones value by performance (and not all my friends want to pay anywhere near 300 dollars, I try to find a solution for them). The studios may be 300 dollars, but sound no different from the solos and solos would be excellent at $50 tops.

I owned the Beats studio as my 2nd expensive headphone, but it was a xmas gift a few years back. The sound quality is okay at best but a deal breaker is the abysmal durability and the fact that you need to change batteries every week or you get no sound at all. Note that you are paying 300 dollars for this thing. To top it off, it only looks excellent on you if you’re bald, nearly bald, or have really really long hair. Average hair length and it looks like any other headphone.
